JEFFJET© LTD was established in November 2005 by an American named Jeffrey Mermelstein. Parents of  religious Holocaust survivors he made his first visit to Israel in the summer of 1973 when he was 16 years old . He came to Israel with a group of 90 plus children to study and work the land in a place called Kfar Galim near Haifa. After touring the country and studying in Israel for three months he fell in love with Israel and returned as a volunteer at Kibbutz Yavne working in their chicken factory. In 1980 he married and now has three children. A graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Jeffrey has a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Insurance, Finance and Real Estate. Over the years he was active as an Accountant, Insurance Broker, and a Real Estate investor. In 2005 he began investing in Eilat Israel buying houses and renovating them, knowing that he was helping the struggling economy in Israel and Eilat as the Intifada by the Arabs was winding down. Eilat was chosen as it is a duty free city. In less than two years JEFFJET LTD has accumalated over 20 units for rent in the Resort area of Eilat. Half to accomadate the religious sect and half for the non religious sect. JEFFJET LTD has also establish a contruction (repair) business and a Thai Spa in Eilat. JEFFJET LTD's vision is to bring other outsiders to Israel and make a dent in the Eilat Israel economy!
